Bao Loc Silk and Brocade Zèng appeared at the World Intellectual Property General Assembly - WIPO
With the desire to tell the Vietnamese fashion story using traditional materials such as silk and brocade, on September 30, designer Minh Hanh and textile artist Zèng from Ta Oi, Aluoi, Thua Thien - Hue and Two silk artisans of Vietnam silk house Bao Loc, Lam Dong had an exhibition and performance at WIPO - World Intellectual Property General Assembly in Geneva Switzerland.

Currently, silkworm raising is developed in Bao Loc, Lam Dong, the capital of Vietnam silk with more than 7,300 hectares of mulberry, 8,900 tons of cocoons and 1,200 tons of silk per year.
53 ethnic groups scattered throughout the country, weaving cloths, weaving their clothes with patterns on fabrics associated with the community philosophy of protecting the survival and connecting values of the community.

Designer Minh Hanh said: "Traditionally, without creativity and protection of intellectual property rights, it will not be able to develop".
Artisan Huynh Tan Phuoc, Chairman of Vietnam Silk house said that the appearance of Bao Loc silk and silk at the World Intellectual Property General Assembly, WIPO, is a confirmation of the quality of Vietnamese Silk in Bao Loc.
Artisan Ho Thi Hop: "I am very honored that the Brocade Zèng of the Ta Oi people appear here. That is the motivation for us to develop the Zèng weaving profession."
The exhibition was attended by over 190 Ambassadors from different countries.
